Our vineyards are located in a variety of soils of alluvial and volcanic origin , the Mediterranean climate , with alternating wisdom sunlight with a long dry season , models the growth of our Pangal Vineyard. The well marked differences of temperature between day and night, transparent skies and great exposure to the sun contributes to obtain an excellent grape production.

This diversity and a great variety of soils deliver an extraordinary tool to locate the different varieties in the most suitable soils for each of them and together with the fact of having warm days in summer, but with cold winds at night, provide a mesoclima ideal for the production of different grape varieties resulting deep red wines , lively and round tannins . For white varieties are also suitable niches producing fresh wines with good acidity, volume and perfect balance.

Terroir

Chile

Chile’s geographic barriers the Atacama Desert to the north, the Andes Mountains to the east, the Patagonian ice fields to the south, and the Pacific Ocean to the west has made Chile known as a viticultural paradise. They help maintain healthy conditions and protect vineyards against pests and disease delivering diversity and fabulous natural winemaking conditions.

Weather

Inside Maule Valley, the excellent location of the Pangal Vineyards is given by the proximity to the sea that softens the high temperatures of day and generates a huge thermal differential, which adds to the diversity of soils. This wide diversity of soils is given an excellent tool to locate the different varieties of grapes in the soils best suited for each. All this coupled with the fact of having warm days in summer, but with cool winds at night that the temperature drops, provide an ideal mesoclimate for the production of different varieties of grapes resulting deep red wines, live, smooth round tannins. The white varieties are also suitable niches producing fresh wines with good acidity and perfect balance and volume.
